Admiring Their Celtic Wedding Rings

September 16th, 2010

I was at a dinner party with friends and admired an acquaintance’s ring. Her husband had a matching band, so I realized it must be their wedding bands. They were so ornate, I had to ask about them. When I got a closer look, I could see how intricately the vines and symbols seemed to overlap and form beautiful knots. When I asked more about the rings, she told me they were Celtic wedding rings. Her husband’s family had originally been from Ireland, and they’d honeymooned there. It was only fitting that their wedding bands reflected her husband’s heritage and their shared experiences in Ireland.
