Facebook upgrade affects its connection speeds worldwide

September 5th, 2010

“I do not believe how slow my facebook account is today,” said Terry when he tried to log on so that he can send his pals invitations to his party. He was mad and walked away from his computer, this has not only happened to Terry but also a couple of other users recently. According to street talk, facebook engineers are said to be trying out on a new product and at the same time uploading it and this is the reason for its slowness. Mostly when there is a technicality in a site, facebook is slow. A user will have to wait up until the upgrade is carried out or try to connect when its slow. Some of the aspects that contribute to its slowness is the enormous traffic of users in the site all over the world. Another remedy can be to close and reopen the browser you are using.
